Title: Solved GReddy Oil Filter Relocation Filter Problems
Post by: Paul-Tll on April 24, 2006, 05:10:27 PM
Changing the oil filter with a \'Greddy\' convertor has  always been a problem.
Having now checked the website (GReddy) it should in fact have an 85-87
Toyota Corrolla GTS filter used. They have the same thread, same width base
as an Mazda filter (which I have always fitted) but have an \'out-y\' thread
unlike the Mazda \'inny\' filter thread.A mazda filter can be used, but has to be
extremely tight on the filter base to make a seal.Clive may remember Rotastock 01 where I turned up with Oil everywhere!.
This may help others who have GReddy type adaptor plates/sandwhich blocks
for Temp. send offs and pressure switches.
