Title: headlight adjustment for MOT
Post by: GeckoGareth on April 24, 2006, 01:49:26 PM
Hi,

my UK FD failed it\'s MOT on a few little bits recently including headlights being out of alignment.

Does anyone have any information on how to adjust them back to the requirements for MOT?

I don\'t really see how they\'ve gone wrong as the cars only been used a couple of times since it\'s last MOT!

cheers

Gareth

Hi Gareth,

You will have a screw at the bottom mddle of each light (you do not need to remove the black cowling as there is a hole to get a small screwdriver in) turn this either way to make the beem go up and down.

Do this at the mot cause you can use the "light box" (or whatever it is called!) to see where to get the top of the beem.

HTH, Ricco.

Nice one. Thanks very much Ricco.

Just need to get the brake lines replaced and the exhaust done now then back on the road again :)
