Title: model confusion??

i have been reading the model threads now i\'m confused which model i have any idea\'s

2 seater with storage bins
aluminum suspension parts
a/c
dark mettalic blue
1993 model
found a plate with:
model spec f122-110
seat type sta
body type c300
ex colour m8
in colour fe5

going to sound a wally now!!
it has five radiator looking things
one under the bonnet intercooler?
two under the front one thin silver one with another behind and above
and one each side behind the vents under the side lights

the 2 under the side lights are the oil coolers, Not 100% sure myself but I was under the impression the Type R and the Type R2 were the ones with 2 oil coolers, the Type R2 had the rear bins though so thats my guess for the day :)

Its a bit of an Odd one, I belive the R2 came out in 94 but the R1 had rear seats.

So if its Got 2x oil coolers,Rear Bins,possably carbon look seats, Textured clock/Radio/Gear selector suround and silver rear badges its an R2

But if its got 2x oil coolers,Black cloth seats, Smooth painted Clock/radio/gear selector suround and Red badges on the back its an R1 that some ones fitted Bins in.

I am led to belive only the R/R1/R2 had no sunroof?

The carbon seats were only in the 1999 spec onwards cars so presuming theyve been added after?

Urm no i have them in my 94 R2 and 99% of R2\'s i have seen for sale have them i think you are refering to the Recaro carbon seats from the RZ, I mean the std R2 Black seats with Carbon patern centers.

Looks like mine, mine\'s an R2. Does it have an identification plate in the driver\'s door jam? On there is where mine said Special Edition Type R2, the rest is in Japanese but you can make most of it out :)

yep mine says special edition cant see r2 anywhere though
