Nice one :Thumbs-up - I\'ve got mine in May - need 2 new tyres to get through, and maybe some welding.

Be curious to see if they fail it on the lights this time  :2Rolleyes

It\'s good to see the FC count is staying up - quite depressing when you see all the ones on ebay that people are breaking for spares - still keeps ours on the road a little longer   :3gears-lh

Hey good result. Looks like Kev is Mr Mazda of the month! It is a good looking car Stu and i am pleased it didnt get broken up. Now I think you will have to drag it down the strip at RSIII a whole stack of times!
Just pleased fo ryou that it worked out for the best.

Did you lot do any kind of waxoyl treatment after you\'d welded everything up?
Title: woooohooooooooo it PASSED the MOT
Post by: grinder on April 27, 2006, 12:36:43 PM
the car got one litre of underseal with added waxoyl

this took me about 1 hr to apply

the sills got about 7 - 10 coats EACH and the rest went on the main chassis legs , and anywhere that i could reach

the underseal and brush cost me £4.48 -  so its worth doing - makes it a LOT easier over a pit though :D

Stu,

Give super Kev a ring, he sourced my clutch etc and its good for what ever I wanna throw at it, the firm he uses are absolutely top notch they know their onions. They spent a few good weeks doing setups and adjustments before I even got it fitted. Kev will tell you, the bloke wouldnt put his name to it until he was happy with it and I gotta say its brilliant :Thumbsup!
