Title: Broken Oil pressure gauge.
Post by: pete sparrow on April 21, 2006, 06:17:44 PM
Hi
The needle has worked its way loose and has fallen off. The gauge was working fine up until then, and the red warning light is still off.
Does anyone know if you lever off/out the front of the gauge or do you have to take the instrument pod out and attack the problem from behind??
Cheers
Pete

The oil pressure and water temp are a complete module in the dash. Its completely interchangable. You may be better off just going for an after market oil pressure gauge.

I can post some photos of it it that helps, once i find my camera. Or thinking about it i\'ll bring it along tommorrow :)

Thanks for the info,didn\'t think it would be as simple as removing the glass and popping it back on. Speak to you tomorrow.Safe journey.

Its in my glove box. It isn\'t as simple as that, but if you know how to pull the speedo out it isn\'t hard at all :)

Safe journey too !!
