dont quote me but you might need to crack the eccentric shaft front nut to replace the bottom main pulley off the engine, you will need some serious leverage, although if the engine is still in situ in guessing you can put it in gear and turn against this?

The p/s pulley wheel is the worst one, best way is to wrap an old belt round the wheel and brace it round another wheel until it jams tight, then undo the nut against this.
Water pump wheel has 4 bolts on the front and comes off easy, umm, what others are there? how many new pulleys do you have?

p.s link doesnt seem to work

i used a similar method for locking the power steering pump and snapped the tensioner pulley out the side of the casting, not too sure if there is a safe method really on that one.  I want a polished power steering pulley if you know anyone who can supply them, or a full set of pulleys if theres a cost saving involved

bottom main pulley is held on with just allen bolts i thought.

ps pulley just pull back the tensioner pulley so the belts loose, remove the belt, hold pulley with a thick towel using a lot of grip and undo the bolt with an impact wrench, gun, thing.. comes off easier than it looks.

I have just done mine with an Air Gun and a Oil filter removal tool.

Which ones are you removing? i take it you are doing the Water pump and Alt Pulleys?

The Alt one is the pain in the Rear one i used the air gun on, The water pump is 4x 10mm\'s there easy (just crack them off with the belt on and vise versa Tighten up fully with the belt on)

if i was u befor the belt is removed try loosening the Alt Pulley. If its ither slipping in the belt or just too tight leave it for some one else becouse there very hard to do if you don\'t have the right tools to do the job.

The Alternator will need an air gun to remove the nut. But the water pump pulley is just four 10mm headed bolts. Its not to bad a job, give me a call if you need any advice.
