Title: Anybody used Superchips?!
Post by: Adriansturgess on April 19, 2006, 02:01:46 PM
Has anybody got any thoughts about putting my FD on the Superchips dyno. I happen to have a Superchips right next door to where I work so it is convenient. Has anybody used Superchips? Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

It\'s likely to be an experiment that goes very very wrong!

The cost of getting a superchip you may as well pay a little extra and get an Apexi ECU, at least you can keep remapping the Apexi ECU as you add mods overtime.
The Superchip once programmed thats it you cant remap it again.

A picture is beginning to emerge..........But they can\'t go too far wrong just putting it on the dyno and giving me the output readings can they???? I agree I wouldn\'t want them poking one of their chips in it!

Depends...............if they understand what AFR\'s the fd runs, if just for a power run go for it, just make sure they understand the beast and they set the machine up correctly so that you get the right reading
