I think its brave to buy an unregistered car off ebay.  Im amusing you didnt go and look at it first.  On the other hand, you might end up with a nice bargain.  It looks good in the photos as long is it runs and passes the SVA ok.

I notice the ashtray is missing.  I have one of them I can sell you :D

Cheers

Wow bargin!!

Did you go and see the car before purchasing it?

I\'m always a bit wary about getting expensive stuff through ebay, you can even buy houses through it!!! LOL

You shouldnt really be driving it home, think its only ok to drive it to an SVA at the moment.  Id probably drive it anyway though, but thats me.

Id worry more about no insurance than no SVA.

This one looks quite cheap, but I hate it when people don\'t spray the engine bay after a respray!!!

Not only does that other car look rough inside, it needs a rad and probably a rebuild!!!  It also has the paint issue too

Reminds me of some I ended up seeing trying to find a car!

Well what does it say about Condition etc? Have you seen it?

I am not trying to pick but if i was in your Shoes i would have asked for a Copy of the Japanies Auction sheet first. Then take into account it is the wrong side of the 60k marker.

There are alot of Good importers on here that would\'nt mind giving you some advise on what to look for on the Auction sheet

im 99.9% sure that the red car was bought from a guy called Touke (or something like that). The guy that used to run Veilside cars http://www.veilside.co.uk/ the company seems tp have gone. I had spoken to the guy before an he seemed sound enough.

For the price you paid its cheap. Hopefully nothing wrong with it. Even if there is, the fact that its running fine would mean its nothing major (I think, im no mechanic). Hopefully you just bought you\'re self a nice cheap new car! Great :D

The main thread has been deleted, but believe me it was shocking especially the owners posts when he joined.

Heres a small thread but you get the jist.  People are not happy at all
