Title: Apexi PFC and Air Conditioning
Post by: gonzoninja on April 17, 2006, 09:28:27 AM
I\'ve got an Apexi, which I\'m going to fit myself, the problem is my air conditioning isn\'t working, which I know you have to turn on for the APexi to self-learn when you set it up.

Basically the condenser radiator at the front has leaked. I think the compressor is still working, as when I turn the air-con on the revs take a dip.

So am I okay to fit the Apexi, or should I wait get a new air-con rad put in and regassed and then fit it?

I should think so. I think with the revs dipping when it comes on means it\'s doing what it should be even if it\'s leaked :)

Someone more technical might help too.

I have a simalar problem, i have removed the Air con rad,Pump and pipe work but most of the Electrics are still there (as i may replace it when i come to sell the car in the future). I am guessing its not going to make any diffrence if the switch is on or not but reading this thread it made me think is the switch is some way linked to the EMS this is why its important to do?
