or any number of things under the rats nest....mine turned out to be a split pipe from an actuator...it really could be anything!!

Most likely a collapsing pipe once warm. I found that when I first got my FD, boost on the second was hit and miss, but this was do to a arm going to the flap for the second turbo not being connected.

Like I said previosuly though, it really could be anything.
Has any part of the turbo system been out that maybe you might have done a pipe in when putting back? If not maybe take the IM off and then have a look around the rats nest and see if anything looks amiss there....although some pipes do open to atmosphere iirc so youll need some sort of diagram to help?
Otherwise test the solenoids...i think you can do this by putting 12v across them and listening for clicking.

update number 2,the rubber pipe on top of the y pipe had a big gash in it,ive replaced it with a silicon hose.i havent took the car out yet as ive had a few beers, but hopefuly this will cure the fault.so everyone with problems check the pipe first

Ok, try here (http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-7/TurboTroubleshooting.htm)

This stuff should really be made sticky! The number of times i\'ve posted this link up! It\'s veyr comprehensive as to what things to check and not to check. It\'s very good indeed.
