Title: Help with a set of wheels
Post by: Mazzyrx7 on April 15, 2006, 01:26:50 PM
Help! Does anyone know if these 19" wheels would fit on my standard FD UK? From the threads I’ve had a look at. Some say they will, others say there\'s not a chance. So I\'m now confused.

Front: 8.5J x 19  +29  TYRES : 235/35/ ZR 19
Rear: 9.5J x 19   +34  TYRES:  275/30 ZR 19

I would get the rear arches rolled if needs be. But I\'m most concerned that the fronts would rub on the liner and wing. The car is on standard suspension so is quite high.

The only reason I’m looking at getting 19” wheels, is there a billy bargain.

Size\'s and offset\'s look ok mate, have a mate who is running on 19\'s with lowered coilover\'s and he get\'s no rubbing even on tight fast turn\'s. Should be ok but always worth checking, hth.........cheers Leigh.

With those offsets they will more than likely stick out past the standard archs a bit.

should sit absolutely flush with the arches, right to the edge. they should be fine on turning etc too especially on the standard suspension set up
