I have the AD Facer front end (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23814&highlight=alfred (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23814&highlight=alfred)) and want to replace the orange lenses with clear ones. (esp now one has been cracked by a stone :mad: ) i have searched through here and fduk and there are a few threads on the subject but it seems no one has found a good solution other than paying £160 for RE-A clear ones-not a good option! tinting is a possibility but they\'re not exactly bright as it is. (unless you can safely fit brighter bulbs?)
i\'m sure i have seen a pic of a car on here with aftermarket clear units that take up only half the space.

I have got the clear ones in, they came with the car from japan
the ones you are on about are on Freddy\'s 2 tone car...they have smaller ones that take up half the space

yeah i want to give tinting a try but playing around with over £100 worth of lenses isn\'t the best idea! :Nono! suppose there is always tint remover if it all goes wrong...
does anyone know about brighter bulbs - whether you can get them and if they will melt something!?
