That Momo steering wheel spoils it for me, better with the original wheel

Was this car brought over as accident damaged and then repaired?Remember speaking to them a while back and they said they were restoring a late model RX-7?

NO way I\'m paying 25 K for a basically standard 7.

If it was that car with a T51 etc then maybe, but he\'s hoping someone has more money than sense. :chat

I agree - no way i\'d pay that for something of that spec...

You could have the Amemiya RX7 they are selling at the moment for that with some change and at least the spec list is good.

It cant be.  That was an American one - so left hand drive for a start.  The guys lady was driving and had to have her splean (sp?) removed as a result

6000miles from new I think makes it a special car. Not validating the price of course but such a low mileage car must be a rare beast!

K1HKS arse I like your avatar. Any more photos?

First ever back halved/tubbed FD in the UK i believe.

Hoping to have it out this year at some point.Am busy with my 5 year old and hospital visits at the mo so car is on back burner but it will be done eventually, other problem as always is money.

Firstly £25K for 6000miles may seem steep - well yea it is very steep but last week on ebay a Escort Cosworth totally standard covered 4800 miles from new went for over £30K so it can happen. But no i wouldn\'t buy it  :D

Secondly GARY - GOD DAMN thats cool !!!!!!  :yes  :yes  :yes  :yes  :yes  Hope you get to use it this year with everything being well  :Thumbs-up

PS - your last picture - damn right its now a screen saver  :rollin  :rollin  :rollin

£25k is not a massive amount to ask for a mint Spirit R. They fetch some £18K in Japan exclusive of UK import duties etc. My own FD has 4000 miles since new and I doubt I would sell that for even £25K - FD\'s with little usage are extremely difficult to find anywhere.

Have they mentioned the car was smashed, repaired? That looks to have had a bit of a knock and wouldnt be worth £25K.  :Hammer

I\'d agree with Freddy, yes £25k is a lot of cash but the Spirit R is so rare globally and there are only 2 in the UK that we know of, with the import law as it is there will continue to be 2 in the UK until 2012 so anyone selling can ask what they want! all late model RXs are commanding a bit of a premium as we can\'t import them any more.

you are talking about a car which would have cost over £40k new here if we could have bought them, with less than 6k on the clock and a limited production of 1500 world wide
