Find your self a very Frendly MOT tester. I had a Very big extended port T2 and i had a problem with MOT\'s but it can be gotten round with some crafty EMS tweeking while its on the testing gear.

With my car being quite old it helped me blag the Tester a bit but i think it would be more of a problem with say a late FD or Rx8?

1992 FD, with PFC ecu.  I have a mate who does my MOT\'s at the moment, but he wont be forever :(

Just about to port my engine and thought I\'d go half bridge.

I\'ve been contemplating a similar thing too. Anyone care to post their HC and CO figures as measured at MOT time? It would be interesting to characterise the general porting (i.e. street port, half bridge etc) against the measurements.

if you don\'t mind me asking why go Bridge? I owned one and TBH for the power i was running i should have done an Extended port and uped the boost a little? I used mine on the street quite a bit and i was not keen on how it drove in trafic and low speeds which was\'nt helped by the Twin plate Clutch. I have since sold the car and bought an FD which i\'m still looking for good hp but i won\'t be going bridge as i enjoy crusing on summer days etc as well. Having said this if i wanted a Trackday car i would proberly go the Bridge route just for the way it develops its power and the better Mid range/top end.
