Thought a few of you might want to see the recently aired episode of Pinks in the USA where a S5 FC came up against an early Civic on the strip.

ahh great no time\'s though? just chewed my nails off watching!!!!!!!!
cheers for that. I see M&M is no longer on digybox this week.
Paul..
Warped tips and all:) fair play to the guy 12 psi and my bum is a banjo. That car is running at least 1.5 bar (approx 21psi) the way It hooked up off the line in the last drag it shows it all
On a side note would love to know what tips were in it?
"We\'ll be drifting that tonight" - HA
That was great - excellent to hear the FC whine on TV! Definetly worth a watch if you haven\'t seen it yet.
That is one mean T2, I see on their website that it is for sale on Ebay at the moment. If only the competition had been something a bit more hardcore than a pink civic.......
i had a laugh at that comment as well. wouldnt gamble my car!!! i thought thats very brave of them, glad that they didnt lose the FC!
that program is good entertainment got any more links?
I just downloaded the episode! Bloody awesome, I wish we had that program aired down in aus.
That FC hauled bigtime, good to see it come out on top.
watched it at work yesterday - SUPERB - that thing shifts
Perfect launch on the last run, the civic didn\'t know what hit them. Plus the great twist at the end about the nos !
I hope you where taking notes mr grinder what you can get out of yours with a much bigger turbo. Its time for some serious ebay hunting that your so good at ! :p
Shaun
MMMMMMMMMMm bigger turbo :D :D
i would prob fit that and the engine would blow :(
Then you might have a look at that engine in the garden :p
Cya soon
Shaun
that an EGI one matey - wont fit :(
nice to see what an FC is capable of though !
Brilliant vid. The FC was blinding. The Civic was credited with 470bhp in the opening creds, so a bit dissapointing on the final run. How do you put that kind of power through the front wheels and keep going straight though?
i think thats what the 20inch wide drag tyres were for
Stu
20 inch was just a random guess - they looked pretty big though :D :D

According to one of the US mags, the fastest FWD pro-street drag car (a civic) runs 7 sec 1/4s! I suspect the driver has VERY strong arms! :rollin :god
I just stumbled on another copy of the video... remembered seeing it in here and checked to find out the origonal link is now dead.
Here you go :) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6911871233660853920&q=rx7

have you seen some of the proper fwd drag machines ? Theres a 323 running a peripheral port 13B and lots of N2O in Peurto Rico and its got a ford 9" for the FRONT diff :2eek scary stuff. I\'ve seen it do a practice 1/8th mile pass on video and it used both lanes !
Have a read :)

There web site. //www.speedmachineperformance.com
They had a Ported motor and a GT45 at 10-12 psi of boost on slicks :)
BTW, I also Found Speedmachine sell Viton Hose for quite a reasonable price too...
