Title: horn
Post by: anthony on April 12, 2006, 10:37:25 AM
my horn is seriously quiet, you can barely hear it.. when someone pulled out infront of me and i held my horn down they didnt even flinch!

definitely time for an upgraded air horn, where are these mounted and are they easily to swap out for a nice load one?

The horn is mounted behind the front bumper on the driver side mate. You might be able to get to it from underneath..

Unless i imagined it im sure they\'res two. One of the drivers side near the top of the bumper, one on the passenger side slightly slower down. Much easier just to remove the bumper imo since they\'re plugged and screwed in it may be a pain without.

On the front \'slam bar\',you might have one or two, look on both sides, down by the oil coolers. Halfords do a nice set of twin air horns. Attach them to the original leads and hit the load button!!!!! Keep the hoses as short as possible from the compressor to the horns for max effact.
