Title: Possible Group Buy FMIC Kit FD3S
Post by: strange_days_uk on April 10, 2006, 09:38:44 PM
Is anyone interested in this, or have a better idea ?

I have been looking at this kit that recently appeared on ebay

FMIC Kit (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8049607864&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)

Just emailed the guy to see if he is interested, obviously need to know if anyone here is.  With summer coming up, I know I need a decent cooling setup, hate that damn heatsoak if you leave the car sitting for 10 minutes with standard intercooler setup..

I told him I would try to get 8-10 buyers, I imagine we can get a half decent price for our efforts.

Post replies if interested....

Cheers, Simon..

Looked at this on ebay and think its a dodgy deal IMO. Look at the intercoolers for the other cars hes selling for (200sx etc) all the pipe work is exactly the same, none of them are different. Then look at the questions hes been asked, they say theyve never fitted this IC to an RX7 before so cant comment on the fitting and whether the battery needs relocating etc etc... To many question marks over it for my liking IMO.

Buying cheap is not always a good idea. Best pay the little extra and get one that will fit properly.

Very good price, I just worry the seller with private/low feedback, he could take the money and dissapear.
