I have just got myself a 3rd Gen RX-7 which I love! Except forthe awful gear knob that came fitted to it. :(
My previous car was an MX-5 which I had a Team Voodoo gearknob on and I\'d really like to get the same one for this car. Does anyone know if the fit and thread will be the same as my Mk1 MX-5? Unfortunately the last knob was on the car when I sold it. Hence I don\'t want to fork out for the new one unless I\'m sure it will fit!
The knob I want is the 2nd one down with the pearl finish on this link:

Me again! I managed to find an older gear knob from the 5 and tried that one and it does fit! So for future reference - A screw fit gearknob for a Mk1 MX-5 will fit perfectly on a 3rd gen RX-7
