Right Ive got my RX7 FD3s all put back together now, I have carried out a few mods to it and am now worried that it will be running to lean which ive read is very bad for rotories. The Mods are as follows
Streight through down pipe
Streight through main cat replacement pipe
Cat back Blitz exhaust
Apaxi Twin Cone induction Kit
KnightSport Upgraded ECU
KnightSport Boost Controller
Ive got it being worked on at a performance garage, at the moment with a rolling road so I was wondering if there is any way to increase the richness and if soo how do I do it.
Ive been trying to find out if the knightsport ecu will up the richness but there website is in Japanese.
Gonna be doing a power run on the rolling road on saturday and was wondering what kind of power I should be expecting. Its a 93 Jap inport type R.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you go to google advanced then you can type in url\'s and it will try to translate them for you - of course wont work on piccies tho but hey!

err... I thought the whole point of a rolling road is for them to set up properly ????
Not 100% sure about this but I think you\'ll be fine , when they set it up on the rolling road they should be able to see the AFR , when you do the power run make sure they keep an eye on the AFR if it starts looking anywhere near lean get them to stop , last thing you want is to pop the engine on the rollers , chances are your ECU won\'t be remappable as well so keep an eye on the AFR when doing future mods
Ah so the Knightsport is not mappable? Whats the point of having it then?
just a guess about the knightsport ECU , my RE Amemiya one isn\'t , mine is just an upgraded ECU with a performance map , bit like having an ECU superchipped its designed for certain mods , mine runs really rich even with an fully open exhaust and intake and runs almost a bar of boost , it will be going up for sale when I get my apexi if someone wants a cheap ECU upgrade

Right I got the car back from the garage this afternoon. What a diference the exhaust makes. At tick over and low revs theres not a great deal of difference but put your foot down and at booms big style. The garage didnt have a chance to put it on the rollers today so its going on the rollers tomorrow. The diference in pick up is amazing to . Almost lost it in town before cos the wheels are spinning up so easily. Ive got the boost controller to fit tomorrow before I go on the rollers.
