Title: Flusing Door Locks...
Post by: Rixio on April 06, 2006, 03:25:45 PM
Have any of you filled in/flushed your door locks, i was thinking about doing it recently after seeing a black FD with them filled in at WGT last month...i want to make the new car as safe as poss after the last incident :2Mad

Is it much work?
How does it affect the locking mechanism?
Who do i get to do it?

As long as you have a keyless opening system then all you need to do is plate over the lock, smooth the panel and respay it. I had my axgt done a long time ago with some other work for about 300quid, I think the door locks cost about 150quid to do, but you can always get spare door handles and get it done off the car and then fit later !

Are you up at mascarat on monday ??
