Title: 120 Litre fuel tanks for FDs
Post by: noyzboy on April 04, 2006, 12:08:53 PM
I says in Wikipedia ( so it must be right LOL) that the RX-7 SP had a 120 litre fuel tank rather than the standard 76 litre one.

This would allow you to travel another 200 miles till you had to start looking for a Shell Station.

Has anyone heard of these before, seen one, got one, and will it fit a "standard"FD or is as a rare as rocking horse sh*t ??.
It would be a  useful mod.

A guy does make a carbon tank which holds 120 ltrs in OZ, I had one cutom made which we put 90 ltrs in and still cant see the fuel. Think of the extra weight though.
