Title: Urgent Tyre Advice
Post by: Bulla on April 03, 2006, 02:49:21 PM
I\'m running Toyo T1-S all round and I\'ve got an unrepairable puncture on drivers side rear. Phoned the guy who gets my tyres and he can now only get T1-R\'s. Question is am I ok with a T1-R on the back and 3 T1-S ? Or should I go for 2 x T1-R on the rear to keep them consistent ? Anyone knwo the difference between the two ? They look fairly similar to me apart fromt he tread pattern.

Cheers for any advice...

I would say never mix tyre types on the same axle.. especially not on the driven wheels :2Confused  :2Confused
it\'s just not worth it in my opinion

That was my initial thought but the guy said should be fine as they are the same compound just different tread. Hmm, I think I might just play safe and go for two new rears.
