Title: Stock Oil Pressure Gauge
Post by: AshRX on April 02, 2006, 10:36:05 AM
After picking up the car from the main dealers i noticed that my oil pressure gauge in the car wasnt working. Can anyone tell me where the plug is located in the engine bay so I can reconnect it if they have unplugged it.

Cheers

Near as dam it under the oil filter on the passenger side of the engine. Could be a dirty connection....... My gauge has a habit of doing what it wants (sitting on 4 then 2, back to 4, then to 0, and back to 4!!) , so I\'ve bought an auxilary gauge for piece of mind!!!

There notoriusly crap, especially as there under the oil filter so evertime you change the oil they get dripped on, giving a good clean tends to make it work better.

i\'ve just checked mine by grounding it and it didnt work so how do i remove it and fit a replacement... all i could see was the electrical connector attached to a metal plate?
