Post by: ruffryder on April 01, 2006, 11:21:00 PM
Ok now wondering if anyone has come accross this !

ok ive only had the car a month a so and did realsie that i ma need a new clutch as the biting point was quite igh and ive managed to stall it i few times in reverse !

ok yesterdy was driving for a while then parked up for a bit - when i tried to start the car up it didnt start ! so i tried puting it in 1st and starting it with clutch down and released the cluthc a bit and it started ???

then i drove again for a while and was parked up again this time i was parked a lot longer when i started the car it started then tried to get it int reverse and it jus dint want to go in at all and not in first or newhere else !

i turned the car off and then it went into gear ? and went into all of them?

so started the car and manged to drive it home ?

i take it its the clutch thats gone on me but i cant understand why it refsed to start earlier and only started wheni put it in gear ??

can anyone help ?

Just try and rebleed the cylinder first. It may not be pushing on the fork far enough.
