Highway insurance is the underwriter...
GAZ666, can i ask you a question??? im on my mums insurance and ive reversed in a car and had to claim. when i want to get insurance, do i have to declare or does my mum take the rap for it :chat
thanks for help to ne1 realy :Tongue1
If you were driving, you have to declare. Most insurance companies will barely increase premiums for one endorsement or claim though. It\'s when you hit 2 or more that they start skyrocketing.
cool cheers again :cheers
yes it does need to be declared to them, but do mention it was on her policy, then on the quote details they will put down it was on \'other\' policy instead of \'own\' as you were not the policyholder...
thank you :guinness

a grand if your lucky, london postcodes are the worst!
Gaz,
You\'re with Highway and in the business.
Do you have a view on the problems BlitzBoy is having with them now ??
Noyzboy
I cannot recommend Highway Insurance due to poor customer servce, non returning of phone calls, lack of correspondence through the post, and breech of contract of my Policy
Did you deal with Highway directly then ? Thats why I\'d always recomend going through a broker, then the broker can sort out all your problems if you have any...
Dealing with Direct Insurers they dont really tend to have good customer service cos all they are after is MONEY MONEY MONEY whatever you pay them they get all of it.. Where as with a broker they only get appox 10% of the premium you pay, and they want to look after you to keep the business otherwise they wont earn anything out of it....but thats just my opinion, some brokers will bend over backwards to help you out...
The AA were the brokers, I have lodged a complaint with them as well
Arhh that\'ll be the problem then... we\'ve had loads of people say that about the AA too.... You cant go wrong with the main performance/hot hatch specialists though, flux, performance direct, greenlight... specialist brokers know what there doing !
I have dealt with Highway from the start with the claim.
The people running the Highway claims department have lied numerous times about ringing me back during the two months.
The AA have been good since I lodged my complaint, they have rang me back a few times and offered advice on what to do next and how to proceed against Highway
