Title: L214 DFD - anyone know this car?
Post by: vxer on March 31, 2006, 09:59:15 AM
Hi there,

I\'m a newbe whos just joined recently, so hello! Looks like a pretty nice forum you have here...  :wave

I\'m coming from a vx220 na which was a pretty nice, fast car, but i hear FDs are even faster! Can\'t wait...  :D

I\'m going to look at this car this weekend, just wondered if anyone knows its history or was a previous owner?

Cheers, Paul.

Looks nice and clean, would always recommend you take someone who knows something about rotaries, lots of cars comming in from Japan atm and loads of c##p in amongst them. If this is genuine and you want to go for it I would suggest you ask the vendor to provide a compression test alongside a full report, that way you will cover most bases.
Good luck :wiggle

It does sound good for the asking price...rebuild has been done but by who?  Ask them to provide the person\'s details so that you can get that confirmed.

Oh....and the reciepts are all there so its worth going over and have a look...

Welcome aboard...... :wave

looks like a nice clean stock looking rx, which you dont see many of nowadays.  I would find out who did the rebuild, give them a call and check it out.   See if there is any warranty, how many miles since rebuild etc.

See if they mind getting a compression check done. This will give an indication of how the engine is.
