Does anyone know much about fitting a supercharger on a 4 port 13b with a weber 45 carb
In a series 1 mark 3
Thanks
Mark
I guess you have already trawled ausrotary? anyhow, there is a good thread in the owners rides section of a guy who has put a superchargr onto a 12a in a first gen. Right enough it isnt a weber and it runs on lpg but the basic blower onto a rotary is there. It is a really interesting concept as most people seem to have gone for the easier route of turbocharging. What sized blower were you thinking of?
Have you considered the option of a draw through turbo set up with a carb? Quite simple and delivers good power for the amount of money spent!?
cheers, michael.
have a search on ausrotary.com
you will find info on there about supercharged 13bs,
sounds like another nice project is on the cards.
blown 4 port, nice, tell us more

Not concidered any other options yet, still waiting to get the car on the road but its nearly there, can get my hands on a Eaton M90 the one used on a XKR/XJR so its a big un, just looking trough ausrotary now

quick boost with blowers, nice cool inlet temps, no spiking or overboosting probs, and nice smooth power every time.
I bet it would make the engine run a lot cooler without a big cherry red turbo under the hood!
Go for it mate :Thumbsup!
that blower must flow a fair wack of air to feed a big jag with the power they make.
would make good power on a 13b.
you might find a 45 is a little small if its being used in "suck through" on a blower ?
48\'s are the norm on N/A 13B\'s
dont really wanyt to change the carb its not even been fitted yet! as i say thought i would get some advice first, i have given pip a shout at wgt so i will let you all know what he things but any veiw are more than welcome
thanks
