Title: What tyre pressures - FD3S
Post by: strange_days_uk on March 28, 2006, 01:57:54 PM
Got 225/35/19 front, 245/35/19 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 2.

Just wondered on what pressure should be running at.  Have been driving around will all 4 at 36 psi, and this seems to be ok.  What do you guys think ??  This is my first experience with low profile tyres !

Cheers..

Running 235/45/17 and 255/40/17 at 28psi.  28 allows for thigs to get warm and gives even wear (so far on 8-10k miles) and good grip.

my tyres were already fitted to my wheels when they were delivered- when I took the car to have the wheels alligned they said they all had 36 psi in!!   I told them to reduce them to 32 all round.  I personally think as long as the pressures are the same on the same axle 30 or 32....not going to make that much difference?

Just thought, having 36 PSI in my rear tyres probably aided to my traction problems at Shakespear County Raceway the other week?!

I think now reading Warthogs post I will adjust mine to 30 at the front - I prefer my tyres slightly harder
