Hi Everyone,
I get my Tll back in a couple of days and have a vast amount of parts to be fiited. My question is will a FD UIM with tps work with a Microtech LT8s loaded with a stock map for a Tll
Many thanks

i have no idea - but nice toys :D
i read about this while searching around for something else, anyway IIRC you need an adapter for the FD UIM to fit properly. wiring up the microtech shouldnt be a problem. dont know about the mapping tho, your best off emailing a vendor.
I have the same set up, but the car has been mapped. From the little i know, the FD tps has a 100% coverage over the entire throttle postion, but the FC only has 80%, so, once you are up to 80% position on the FC, the rest is just considered full throttle. It is fairly simple to adjust the tps on the microtech from what i understand!
Thanks for the quick replies!
I guess I\'ll just fit it all any way and get it mapped on the dyno as soon as i can. :)
Thanks
Paul
Yep, It will work, but when i did it i had the Map altered for the TPS i was using.
The FD upper is a good mod if your going to be running lots of Overlap (Big ports).
There was a post about how the mod is done.

altering the TPS on the Microtech is easy - about the only bit which you can do after reading the destructions just once!
Hmm, FD UIM - now that may be worth a go......

If your car is still over at RX and you want an adapter plate, let me know, i had 2 made, Matt fitted mine, he altered it a little, but it is shaped to fit the FC lower to FD upper!
Let me know.
