Title: Allignment Settings – are they the same if the car is lowered?
Post by: M@r]{ on March 22, 2006, 02:10:56 PM
Sorry if this sounds a bit dense â€" im hopefully going to have my wheels aligned at the weekend â€" ive got the settings from the Sticky, but my question is this â€" my car is very low. A lot lower than standard â€" will these settings still be the same?  I’m pretty sure they will be I just want to be sure

Thanks

my car is also very low. i went for the long track settings from the sticky but they couldn\'t be achieved! the adjustment nuts were at their extremes so i had to just get as near as possible-i have more camber than is ideal.

So do you think you should ask for the same settings no matter if your car has been lowered?

Yes....
RAW: I hade the same problem. Couldnt get the caster angle correct, should have been 5 degree but I could only get 4 and the camber was just over 1 degree!! Goes around corners like its on rails mind!!
