Not sure if im posting this in the right place, but here goes anyway! Was just wondering if anyone had used or bought from Envy Performance before? looking for a bonnet, bumper, skirts, and possibly a rear bumper, and they seem to be very good on price compared to some.
What other companies have you guys used before for bodykits?
Thanks
Andy
bump
need some help here!
Thanks
have a look on mkivsupra.net
I have always heard good things but never used them
will do, thanks. havnt phoned clive at shy auto yet, but hes on my list to try! any others?
For bodykits you can always try TakaKaira in Japan, their website is in English and you can order online with your credit card. Just pump in FD3S on the product search and have a look at all the goodies. Noticed they have a new range of some great looking door mirrors for the Rx, both manual and electric operation.
Just be aware of the import and postage duties they can add up big time, ended up costing me near on 700 quid in duties/taxes etc. Hope this helps you out mate......best of luck Leigh.
cheers guys! wouldnt be in this position of buying bodykits just yet, but had a woman in a 4 by 4 reverse into my car, twice! minor damage really, but, insurance is being rather nice to me! lol Anyway, keep em coming!
Thanks again!
Not too much damage i hope Andy
hi kev, no not too serious, was woried at first tho, 4 by 4, twice on my bonnet! just cosmetic, smashed bumper, creased bonnet, and dented wing, but like i said, insurance is being kind! thought it was gonna be much worse! radiator, oil collers etc! should be sorted soon, when i find somewhere to get some stuff from! theyve said, seing as the mazdaspeed bumper is near imposible to get, and the bonnet will take 4 - 6 weeks, i can have whatever i like upto the value of those parts, and anything over, i can pay for myself! not bad really, probably saved me in the long run realy!
hows the cosmo anyway?
I bought some body parts for my Supra from Envy and in my opinion a very good comapny and fast shipment.
I did order some interior parts for the rex, and did take a couple of weeks to turn up, but were very sincere about it and offered a discount on my next order.
They can get you most things you want but like most companies it comes down to import times from abroad
cheers ash, put my mind at ease a little if i do decide to go with them!
Quote from: andyroihows the cosmo anyway?
Just getting it ready for Brooklands front ends been lowered now so its looking much better.

Andy, i\'ve ordered from them just today, very good dealing with them on the phone. Obviously can\'t say anything about delivery/quality as it\'s going to be weeeeeks before I get my wheels but give them a call anyway, Gareth\'s easy to talk to and don\'t doubt he\'d help.
Haven\'t anything to say about prospec since not replied to my email and the phone number doesn\'t work :)
good to hear other people using them anyway! so thanks again guys! hope you didnt have anything ordered from prospec, if theyre being difficult to get hold of! last thing you neeed is being messed around for stuff you want to buy!
naw couldnt get hold of them to actually order, had a shopping list in hand too :)
I dont doubt Shin@Prospec is groovy though, and probably just er.. busy.
Sorry to hijack
Just to let ya know i have dealt with envy performance ordered a hks BOV and a blitz turbo timer and to be honest i did recieve them, instructions were all in japanese and they took seriously around 6-7 weeks to get on my doorstep constantly ringing them and promises after promises i personally wouldn\'t deal with them again but it\'s up to you buddy i might just of been unlucky :D
too late now ha ha! ordered my full bodykit from them about 2 1/2 weeks ago, said they would be 6-8 weeks in total. 6 of those one the boat over here, and upto 2 depending on if they had some ready made or if they had to make them for the order.
sounds like your parts were meant for the japanese market, and came over on a boat too!
The guy told me they could do airmail from japan, but it would be costly.
Anyways, heres hoping they are ok! Ill post up here when they do arive anyway Cheers guys!
Ditto with my wheels :)
My wheels arrived today, taken between 5 and 6 weeks i think and from envyperformance themselves they were posted next day delivery. Only checked one wheel so far but looked fine, well packaged (although that\'ll have been by Rays themselves), and exactly what i ordered and expected. So provided the rest are okay i\'ve no quibbles with the company at all, no problems on the phone either when i placed the order, Gareth was pretty helpful. Hope that helps if anyone\'s looking to place an order with them, although from the sound of things probably best not for the smaller items if they\'re going to be shipped via er, ship.
Andy you received your stuff yet?
Cheers, Jode
Hi, pleased to hear you got your wheels ok, youll have to get them on and get some pics up! No, not got my stuff yet, should be within the next 2 weeks hopefully. If theyre here within that time, the body shop should be able to have the kit fitted and all resprayed for RS3! Fingers crossed!
Andy
aye cheers i\'ll get some pics up, but will need some rubber first, might just pop them on with the car on axle stands just to satisfy my curiousity :) Hope you get the kit soon, you letting on what it is yet, or keeping shtum?
Ive mentioned it on other threads, so not much point keeping shtum now, anthough thinking about it, maybe should have! :) Anyway, it the full cwest kit, cant remember the exact type, think theres a couple of different ones. Gonna give them a call tomorrow as its getting to the time i need to get the car in if its gonna be ready!
