Title: New Wheels
Post by: Gerry M on March 20, 2006, 04:11:51 PM
Well after a few months of waiting there here!.......Thanks to miguel at newera again.

They\'re work VS-SS with deep dish to replace my huge spacers & oz futuras.

Fronts are 17 x 9 et+5
Rears are 17 x 11 et -3

I still had to use a 3mm  & 5mm spacer front & rear to bring them out to the same as my old wheels.

they really modernise the look of it. just got to wait on a few cosmetic things now. Only found out they came with nuts valves & caps after they arrived:Thumbsup! , once i\'d bought new rays nuts & some flush valves   :(

But now i have to clean them every time i\'m out as i have endless pads as well with quite agressive dust. Its already started eating into the laquer on my B4 RSK which has the CC-X as well but they do stop you v quickly

only from a distance it really needs a respray or a good polish & the cracked front wing doesnt do it any favors.

The more I look at the car the more I appreciate the transformation. What a difference a set of wheels can make.

Very nice wheels there, totally suits the car. I\'ve got some Work wheels that I am refurbing at the moment but I think I need these spacers as the wheels sit too far in under the bodywork. Do you know where I can get them and what sort of price would I be looking at??

Nice!!!! Really has made your car look different to before, get that respray and you\'ll never want to take the car out again for fear of it getting dirty! ;) Look forward to seeing her at Rotorstock!

What was your waiting time BTW, my Gram lights were about 7 weeks, and seemed even longer as I wanted them so badly - even managed to curb the passenger side so I may need to get some new ones eek!!

about 3 months found work wheels usa very helpfull regarding offsets etc. Think the wait was due to the fact they had to make the size as it wasnt avail off the shelf with those offsets.
