Title: What is this connector?

Just been wiring in the stereo and stuff and found this unconnected socket.

Anyone any ideas what it is?

it\'s connected to the chassis down by the drivers side leg pad thingy

Ahh ok, but should it be lose and not connected as that\'s how mine is in the pic?
