Title: Forced air induction kits?
Post by: dubber91 on March 17, 2006, 02:43:24 PM
i need to make one up for the 13b powered beetle. I have got all the pipes etc to pipe it through the rear firewall, and up to a duct in a plexyglass window. Problem is it needs to be sealed, else induction roar is gonna be ridiculous. What about the \'forced\' air induction kits you see on ebay? any good? Whats to stop me from making one up myself? Has any body done this?
cheers guys

So use the idea, could you not use a stock air box from a 13b a K&N filter will fit and then pipe it through?

arapt from the fact i dont have a stock air box, i think if its going to be on show it has to have certain aesthetic properties.
Heres something i knocked up after a trip our this morning....
