Not sure whether I should be posting this here or in the electrical section.
Occasionally, my engine cuts out when I\'m at a standstill. Now, this is quite odd, because I know when it\'s going to do it. The engine is running as normal, then the speedo suddenly jumps to 180mph. At which point the engine stops. I would like to find out what causes this, as it\'s annoying if it happens when I\'m stuck in traffic (which seems to be when it likes to do it). Also, it never seems to happen twice. i.e, once it has happened on a journey, it won\'t do it again!
