Has any1 ever purchased anything from this company?
do you know where abouts they are based ??
Thanks
Shaq
believe chris is in bournmouth, never bought but have met at several meets and seems a genuine guy, would not have a problem buying from him personally.
Yes - Chris is a good guy. I bought my Apexi Power FC & Commander from him. Good price and he installed it for me down in Bournemouth. Only slight problem was I had to chase him for a receipt but did get one.
Kevin
He can also tune them along with suppling quite a bit of Apexi stuff.........Give him a bell:)
does any1 know if sense tuning have gone bust ?
because i have been trying to contact them for the last two days but get no answer from them ???
tried both of the numbers.
any1 know ??
what sort of power can you get from an apexi??
i dont know on the exact gains but i do know the air boxes on the rexs are really restrictive. my bet would be about ......
8-10 bhp ?

I think Chris has a \'proper\' day job still atm? so he may be just tied up with that??
Shaq, I *think* RE:Worx may have a set of the Apex Power intakes on the shelf, they did have quite recently when I was down there - may be worth sending them an email to find out, you could still have them by the weekend if so:
reworx (info@reworx.com)

thanks i have sent him an e-mail, hopefully they will get back soon,
something tells me i am not going to get those filters for £190 from anywhere else !
Shaq
A couple of things you need to think about :
Why did Mazda bother with an enclosed induction system when designing the engine.
Answer: to provide as colder air charge as posible [denser the air - the more oxygen to mix with the fuel].
Since that original thought the only improvement has been a better - free flowing enclosed panal air filter [as far as Mazda are concerned].
Anyone who has gone into tuning a rotary [on the twin turbo set up] will tell you heat is the geatest enemy - why change a cold air charge [ costom made sealed induction unit as supplied] to open cone filters drawing air from an all ready over heated engine bay? - I would suggest there is very little gain from replacing the standard system to a cone filter system - unless you are providing a cold air charge to those filters from an outside source.
Dont get me wrong they look and sound very good - but do you get 10 -12 bhp from them I don\'t think so.
Just my 13b\'s worth,
