Just been round to see a mate, and he tells me that he has a set of brand new RX-8 wheels. And has offered them to me for £285!!
I feel it\'s an oportunity to rare to miss, as i only have 17" wheels on my FD. but it\'s still going to be a lot of money, as i\'ll have to get them shod in some rubber too. Does anyone know what size tyres i should be fitting? Fill it be a straight forward fit of the wheels?
Not sure of the size of tyres, but I think that the stock RX-8 size is ok. The fitment is also not an issue, unless it is seriously lowered.
Fish
i\'m running 18s and i have 225/40 at the front and 255/35 rear. not sure if it will be the same for RX8 wheels but i should imagine so if they are a similar width to mine (8.5 all round).
Cool - thanks guys
nikp - you\'ll probably get them cheaper on ebay as they come up quite often and I\'ve seen them go for $150 a set.

Whats the offset of the rx8 rims? they dont look right on the couple of cars i\'ve seen. One of said cars was the worst handling FD I\'ve ever driven too, but may be that was coincidental!
Hi Rich,
The offset is the same as a third gen.
Its the fact that they are 18\'s that screws up the handling, any thing bigger than 17\'s is a no no if you want to still go around corners! :2eek
That surprises me, the 8 rims always look in the wrong place in the arch - optical illusion i guess :)
ive got some RX8 rims and they seem fine, no rubbing or any other issues. Any (free plug) they are for sale in the appropriate section of the forum. WITH bridgestone nearly new tyres already :).
i just need to sort some pics out, asking £300 though
