Title: Garrett GT 40?
Post by: MattR on March 12, 2006, 10:17:25 AM
Hi Guys

Looking for some advice on the Garrett GT 40, as its looking more and more like my current turbo isnt in uch good condition!! Not sure what size my current one is Other than its Garrett with a A.R 60. Will know more when the turbo is off..

I think my current one is on a T4 Flange..

SO really i am thinking of going the GT40 Route and was wondering what peoples thoughts are..which model would you go for, what sort of power, ease to fit to my current setup ,lag , what fueling setup is suited to that turbo etc

Pic shown is my current turbo.

It is a T04E HKS Kit you have fitted to your car at the moment.

GT40 will make a huge difference to your current Setup.

I think, if you perform a search for high spec upgrades (like "going single, what do I need") you should find all the info you need to know.

How ever, my recommendation to you:
Go to your favorite RE- tuner and tell him what you are looking for. Him will make all the things needed and perform a right setup for you.
