Hey all,

been on here a while so thought id introduce the new car to you all,

Going in now for a bit of work to be done. hopefully be able to keep you all up to date with the work thats going on.
Quick back ground,
its a 1994 single to4r turbo
with Cwest bumpers and sideskirts
Original Rmajic bonnet
i think Re-A wing mirrors
Cwest Wing
Was originally red
Now in for a full body respray to blue
having the wing removed
and a change of alloys

What are you replacing the wing with, if anything? Also, what alloys you going for?

im part of this group buy from ultralight goin for white alloys,
the wing is going regardless, being left off or replaced with a re ameynia tail light cover if i can ever find one

majority of the prep is now done. bumpers been repared, couple cracks filled
and all filled and smoothed :D

put the first layer of primer on tonight.

yeah its a beauty, its a Rmajic origanal:D yeah looked at that, cheers for the heads up. be a couple more pics up tomorrow of car in primer. starting spray monday or tuesday. bin without the rex for 2weeks now:(

I dont know a lot about bodywork but how come the front screen and the tailgate glass have been left in?..surely its best to take these out so you can spray under where the rubbers go?.. i dont know just seems common sense to me.

the seals around the glass roll up, so they finish is good no red(previous) colour can be seen and ive scrutenised it. plus i dont want to be the chump whos looking for relacement glass when i want the car bk. cheeers for the comments tho

another 2, just about to go into the booth:D

then i got a day off work to put everythin back on.
i got 1side of a double garage and a spare bedroom full of bit.
loved finding out how my car comes apart. so everythin (dash. heater matrix all interior pannels. seats) going back in plus bought some new bits and bobs to go on.

then going to move my intercooler further forward and down so it is in the air stream more
once ive done this ive got a load of shiny shiny 70mm pipe and samco bubble back conectors to put everythin back together with. that is just before i take the plenum off the altinator elbow pulleys conpressor housing to be powdercoated.

GOD I LOVE THIS CAR :D:D:D:D
