Welcome mate thats another rotary in yorkshire as regards no plans one must for you calander is rotorstock 28/29th of May. Even if you don\'t want to run you beast down the strip theres a show and shine and the chance to meet most of the rotorheads from the forum.

OH YES!!!!!!!! Happened to me a few times!! I now only have one turbo to contend with(T78) now,yet to try her at all,still being rebuilt,but a whole new ball game,can\'t wait.

welcome and nice car mate.
Loads of the fd\'s in this country are in need of suspension bushes and proper suspension/geometry setup so they handle like a bag of poo. In reality these car\'s handle great you have the above set correctly with some decent tyres.
cheers lads the car has scared me a few times lol i used to have a wrx impreza and it was nout like this i was sideways the first night i got it the bonnet is on spacers at the bk to let heat out.

the spoiler came with the car i dident like it at first but tbh i like it now the wheels are 19s

And another east yorkshire rotary owner around now - picked mine up yesterday,taking a bit of getting used to after an EVO V feels like my butt is on the floor when i get in even though the EVO was lowered ;)

Thanks for the welcome,sure dont see many Rx\'s about thought EVO\'s were thin on the ground.
add number by all means.am often in hornsea as mother in law and 1 of the kids lives there (plus have a boat in the compound there ).
be good to meet up especialy as you are a veteran and me a newby learned a fair bit about moding EVO\'s when i had one so starting to learn all over on the RX but have 1st bits lined up - twin hks induction kit and hard pipe picking up next week and probably going for forge twin dump valves (know 1 is enough but 2 looks better too ).
whats been wrong with yours ?

Water seal went, so is having a new rebuilt engine fitted and an extended street port done to go with the T88 single....
Had a thrash with one of the New Evo FQ340\'s a while back, and even though i was only running .6 - .7 BAR boost making 263 RWHP it was a pretty even match, would like to meet it again once my cars sorted lol...

fq was probably running 1.5 bar boost had that in my evo V but ran it at 1.2 bar for safety, lose 24% power from flywheel to wheels as 4 wheel drive mine was 279.2 wheel and 367 ATFW still was quick after mods done
:). the RX is same as evo was before ecu flashed and remapped its running at 227 BHP will get all bits to go on at once picking up HKS induction and hard pipe next tuesday,VTA dump valves on list next (recirculating on now ) pmsl only had the car 3 days and wallets opened

gutted today wife was backing RX into garage wind caught door slammed it into bumper at the near side scratched paint and pushed bumper out slightly near wheel arch :eek:

I know exactly how you feel.Last year i drove mine into a calour gas heater i had in the garage,scratched the nose cone,i was GUTTED,felt phyically sick!!
The nose cone had to be fully resprayed.
Hope it goes well at the bodyshop.

there is a jap car meet sunday at home farm pub near humber bridge 12.30 if you fancy it 6 evos off my old site and at least 2 RX\'s,plus skylines and no doubt a rare scooby or 20 PML .meeting 1 RX owner if not 2 at odeon cinema at 12 (near ice arena) let me know if coming can convoy into pub then
