Title: FC as a second car?
Post by: fc3sPAT on March 05, 2006, 10:16:32 PM
I have just bought a new car, and the FC will be off the road for a little while, well at least until i sell it, but i would be wanting to drive this once in a while too, anyone recommend a good company for this, i am 24, 7 years experience, and owned the FC for just over 3 years, my NCB will be used for the new car, anyone know? say classic policy with limited mileage, fun car, whatever...... :)

You may struggle as you are under 25.

yea i thought as much, but i\'d like to drive it once in a while before i sell it, dont want to see it gathering dust before then, i dont even mind if it is 2000 mile limit,

do any insurers do quarterly plans?

Well, I\'m over 25 (just a tad :Giggle) but I\'ve got my cab insured as a classic car via Sureterm Direct. In fact these were the only guys who\'d touch it without it being garaged and with just an immobiliser.

If they give you a decent quote let me know - as I\'m an existing customer introducing someone gives me a bit of a discount on the renewal, but also a tenner off for the person I introduced...
