Title: Alloys on FD?
Post by: Jovic82 on March 02, 2006, 11:19:58 AM
Morning all,

I may have found some alloys i wish to get for my Fd.
The sizes are as follows:

19x8.5J +25 PCD:5H-114.3 2pcs (For front)
19x9.5J +29 PCD:5H-114.3 2pcs (For Rear)

Now i will be putting the ks auto wide arch kit on next week but need to know whether these will fit okay.

would adding a spacer of 3-5mm push the wheels out more to fill the archs enough? i can never remember which way round it all works!

Cheers
Nick

Well standard offset is +50 so I\'m reckoning they\'ll already be sticking out enough?

Anyone?

I don\'t know anything about KS auto kit. Do you have any pics or spec??

OEM wheel is 8 inch wide with +50 offset.
8.5 with +25 offset will bring the wheel pretty far out. Also what kind of tires are you putting on?? 19 inch diameter with lowest side wall will still make the overall diameter way bigger than stock (for 8.5inch you want to go 245 or bigger in width). I\'m assuming you are going for show instead of performance?

Just as an update, there\'s a link somewhere on rx7club.com to an excel doc which will work out how much the wheels will stick out etc for difference wheel size, tyre size, profile, offset etc.

I\'ll try and post it when I get home tonight.

Their website is http://www.ks-auto.com, I\'d provide a direct link but it\'s all in Flash.  Easy enough to find.  Looks nice.
