Title: Can someone please help - what offset 18" 8.5/9.5?
Post by: M@r]{ on March 02, 2006, 11:10:34 AM
Can someone please give us some advice?  As you have no doubt seen im am arranging a groupbuy on Ultralite Alloys.  But there seems to be quite a lot of uncertainty about what size offset to order.   :3Confused

The wheels are 18x8.5 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rear.

The choice for the front is either ET30 or ET36 - so what is best for a 18x8.5 on the front?

The choice for the rear is either ET20 or ET35 - so what is best for a 18x9.5 on the rear?  Im pretty sure that is ET35?

Also, what size tyres do you think we should go for?  Front/Rear 235/265?  Or 225/255?

Will a 235 on the front rub?

Anyone who can finally help us make the right decision would be a star!

36 on the front

35 on the rear

I\'m afraid I don\'t know about the tyres.

Do you know what width and offset the front wheel is?

I think the rear will be tight even with a 35 offset on the rear, maybe someone running with this offset can tell you it\'ll be ok?

I think the widths will look best with a 225 & 255 combo, plus it\'ll help ensure the rear fits under the arch.
