Title: what MPH do u get on your turbo II?
Post by: maz13b on February 27, 2006, 11:41:00 PM
Hello again guys.

I am having very poor fuel consumption on my TII and I was curious what might be causing it.

I get 60 miles on 20 pounds of fuel that I put in.   By any standarts its alot I think :(

What do I need to check or try to adjust to reduce it???

Surely there is something I can do.

THanks,

Art

Think its a lot to do with where he is Stu, probably does more gear changes in a day than you do all week.

Kevin

thats the prob with the rex -  i think they like being run - not in standing traffic - which is prob why the yanks get more miles out the engine - as they do longer RUNS in them ??

I owned the car since november last year and consider myself as a newbie when it comes to Rotary :D   and still waiting on my first engine death  :2eek .

However I have already changed the engine harness by myself and now understand what the car looks like under the bonnet and adding new things as I go along.     The only thing that really upsets me at this point is that my fc doesnt sound as loud as I want it and I am still quite far away from getting new exhaust cuz I still have to get the clutch that I have burned due to hard driving.

Anyhow thank you for welcoming me in to rotary world and I think I should just forget about fuel consumption and keep my foot of the gas.

I was thinking of getting stage 3 clutch.... any of you guys got that?
oh and if any of you got any parts of their FC that arent stock I will definatly consider those aswell :D  to purchase ofcuz.
