Title: Racing Beat Anti-role bars--RE:WORX
Post by: Warthog on February 25, 2006, 10:17:27 PM
Went down today to see the lads and have the above fitted Chris did the fitting as well as a couple of rear bushes that were suspect. Max and Geff said I would notice the difference but WHAT A DIFFERENCE very very impressed. She is now well and truely planted. The boy came down in his MR-2 so the lads to check it over and then it was given to the Rolling Road master. Max did some power runs with it and it made 129bhp @ rear wheels, it\'s only the n/a type but A/F lines and power curve were spot on. So my son is well pleased.
No body wanted to play on the public roads on the way home.
We missed out Boxhill as I had to wait in line for my work to be done and it was past 2pm before we left.
Very close to home on a private road, the boy was leading and a Honda Civic Type R tried to play. Oh what a silly boy he was, sat on my bumper trying to push me along at 100mph.
My son moved over and my finger just Pushed on the boost button from low to high, change down, supersonic and planted 1.4 bar of boost. No type R, I wonder why.
Anyway many thanks again to the RE:WORX crew, top service once again.
I just need to sort out that AP brake kit that I need. I hate shopping lists.

Ah ya bugger, you beat me to it; having anti-roll bars fitted (albeit FEED ones in my case).  Am looking forward to feeling the difference.

It\'s worth fitting uprated anti-roll bar mounts when you uprate the anti-roll bar on the front as the stock Mazda mounts are known to be a bit flimsy and may flex under heavy loads especially on track.

I had RB bars fitted at WGT and Pip recomended this mod, luckily I\'d already uprated the mounts with a mount/strength bar from Dragon performance.

RB bars are a great mod though if you want to go quick through corners :D

The kit that I had fitted included everything Front bar £122 + vat Front brace £71 + vat. This combination uprates all the fixing points etc. Rear Bar £122 + vat And then fitting on top.
Having now used the car over the weekend inc the London run I am even more impressed if I was to advise one mod for pure handling and pleasure in your driving it would be this one. HTH.
