Hi all,
A few things to list here, based on decisions made at the AGM (AGM Minutes can be found in the Members Chit Chat Section):
1. Members who have not renewed membership, will be put back to NON-MEMBER status, thus losing access to your PM\'s. This is affective immediately.
2. RX-8 Section to have their own Chit-Chat section. Done
3. Club Events Calendar is now displayed at the top of the page. Done
4. Create new group: mazdarotaryclub.com Overseas Guest. Done, but users need to be added
5. NON-MEMBERS will not be able to post New Threads, only search and reply to existing. This will take affect from March 13th (approx 1 month from now).
6. NON-MEMBERS will not be able to post their email address in messages. Effective immediately
7. Moderators have been asked to move faster in removing Rude and Offensive posts into Quarantine, to give them time to resolve the situation. Effective immediately
That is about it for now.

i know this isnt up for disussion any more (hence having the agm) but i think it all sounds spot on, especially the non member posting, should improve the overall quality of the posts and encourage more members.
big thumbs up :):)
Brilliant, all good stuff, well done guys, :Thumbsup!

Sorry if this is a duplicate of a previous message posted in the member benefits section, which didn\'t seem to appear.
I\'ve just been speaking with a journalist from practical classics who says he failed to make contact with the club, and when he looks at the forum (as a non-member) he sees a very Rx-8 biassed appearance, no \'members cars, 1st-2nd-3rd gen sections at all\'. This might mean that potential club members are being lost because they don\'t believe the club caters for them. A way of making the scope of the club more obvious to the casual visitor would be useful...

Hi Sean
I have checked this out for myself you are absoultley right! - we will investigate as to why this happens!!
Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention!
I think the problem why we have missed it is because everybody just automatically logs in rather than just going to the main page and therefore would not have noticed it.
Many thanks
Hi Sean
Do you know of way to sort the problem. Glenn has gone off to Oz and will not be back for a couple of weeks.
Thanks
Sorry, you need to find someone who knows about how the forum works - it\'s a bit more complex than the forums i\'ve run. It ought to be possible to restrict posting in sections of the forum, and viewing the sections, maybe seperately or it might be linked. I don\'t think it\'s too urgent though...
