Post by: anthony on February 15, 2006, 02:24:46 PM
my windows take years to go down, the motors must be worn, what is the fix for this? a refurb on the old motors or buy new ones? if the latter are there aftermarket parts i can get or do i need to try and source this from mazda?

best bet is to speak to Andrew at Jimmys or Pip at WGT sure they could sort you out witha replacement/refurbed one.
Or try a rex specialist from the links at the top thats closer to ya....

Have you tried lubing the window channels with silicone spray? May be worth a trt for a quick fix.

thanks for replys, going to take off the trim and give it a bit of lube to see if it helps, otherwise im going to see what motors it uses and see if i can refurd the existing ones, as 2nd hand good ones are about £75, which seems a bit expensive :)
