Title: A-Plan (Matt)
Post by: Stu.Wilson on February 13, 2006, 11:37:45 PM
Hi all,

had to share what i thought was a GREAT quote from A-Plan on my FD, Full comp, Protected NCB and kit/mods, 6k miles a yr.

23yrs old, CT5 post code, garaged and 6yrs NCB with 2yrs on this car £890!

Couldn\'t believe it, but the search will go on. Will keep you posted on any cheaper rates.

Stu.

I might have to ask them why they can\'t quote me less than 1200 and I\'m 35!!!

Didn\'t, which is why both cars are with them!  Next summer might be different though as I\'ll look to moving the 7 to a classic policy.

I would def call them, i called them again today to look at having another car put on \'clio\' that was another £480 though.

Forgot to mention that the quote for £890 was on k plate and i have a CU30 (bald tyre) from 2002. The post code is very low crime area though.

Have also just found out LloydsTSB do import insurance now, but for over 25\'s (24 in may).

Good luck.

Generally been happy with A plan.
However when my renewal quote came through for 840.00 I phoned back with a "is this the best you can do" ? question. They came back later in the day with 620.00 so worth haggling where you can.
