hi
i spect they have accidently pulled off vaccum hose if you had leak on the vaccum side then you will get rough idle....
Vac hose is the favorite bet if not check the little non plastic return valves that are mounted on the hoses they get very brittle with the heat and you only need to knock them while getting to the cylinder to put a hairline crack in the nipples the pipes shove onto.
Kevin
cheers for info,
could you point me in direction of vac hoses
thanks bob
Cant miss them mate there about 6/8mm dia coming from the inlet manifold and the ratsnest under if its a stock setup. Your best bet is to start around the master cylinder where you know they\'ve been working. The non return valves are small plastic items about 12mm dia that have a pipe in and out. If its a stock setup then you\'ve about 44ft of vac hose to go through thats the bad news but it aught to be around the area that the works been done. The other poss is the hose to the map sensor, hows the car running when driving it if you are having problems when driving then the map sensor hose could be your best bet. It may be that you need someone you knows there way round the engine bay to have a look to be honest or try posting some close up engine bay pics.
