They just rang and said the cheapist non genuine starter motor they can find is £300  :eek  i knew it would be expensive  but wasnt quite expecting this!

Sooo my question is...... is this what they normally range at or does this seem a bit to expensive??
I was going to try ring around my self see if i can find it cheaper does anyone no of any good places to try??

Jimmy\'s, or Dragon, or WGT...some of the specialists basically. They\'re all likely to have something. Dunno about prices though.

Are you/carage 100% sure it\'s the starter? if it is i would have thought RX motors in Dorset would have a used one.

You could try Jimmys (banner at top of page)

I got mine from there. Second hand, but has been in over a year now with no probs. Reasonable price about £70 i think, and great service to boot.

Dont let them rip you off with the fitting, its 2 bolts and two wires, and nothing else has to be removed so it should take no longer than 15 mins off and 15 mins on.  I wouldnt expect to pay more than an hours labour in total.
